Yes! Our sandwiches are still sold in the frozen aisle, but they can be stored in your fridge for up to five days once you get them home. 

That’s up to you! Our Fridge Friendly sandwiches give you the flexibility to store our sandwiches in your fridge or freezer. Just don’t refreeze the sandwiches once they’re thawed, as this can reduce the quality of tastes and textures.

Depends how soon you wanna eat ’em! For on-demand snacking, we recommend keeping your sandwiches in the fridge so they’re thawed and ready. The bread will stay soft and delicious for up to five days. When stored frozen, our sandwiches have a shelf life of up to nine months. Be sure to check the “Best If Used By” date printed on the side of the box — we recommend enjoying your sandwiches before this date. Also, you should eat your Uncrustables^® sandwiches within 8 hours of being at room temperature, whether you grabbed them from the fridge or freezer. Do not microwave or refreeze.

Based on consumer feedback and preferences, Smucker’s^® Uncrustables sandwiches were reformulated in 2017 to replace high fructose corn syrup with sugar. Please be assured, we were careful to maintain the delicious taste you and your family have come to love from Smucker’s Uncrustables sandwiches.

This varies by product in our portfolio. Our Chocolate Flavored Hazelnut Spread Uncrustables^® sandwich contains milk ingredients. Check the ingredient list on your Uncrustables^® sandwich packaging for allergens.

Yes! Uncrustables products make a great addition to your kid’s school lunch. For on-the-go use that include ice packs, please use within 6 hours.

Uncrustables^® sandwiches are Fridge Friendly! That means you can store them in your refrigerator for up to five days, so they’re thawed and ready to go when you are. However, you can also keep them frozen for longer. If you’re taking one from the freezer, allow it to thaw for 30 to 60 minutes at room temperature and enjoy within 8 hours for best flavor. Do not microwave, as the filling can become very hot and pose a safety hazard. 

We would just recommend that you allow the bread to thaw first and also be careful as the peanut butter or chocolate flavored hazelnut spread can be very hard if chosen to eat frozen and could also pose a potential safety hazard.

Microwaves are notorious for uneven heating. This could create a safety hazard as the jelly/jam/fruit spread could become excessively hot liquid.

There are a couple of convenient ways to store our sandwiches. If you know you’ll be reaching for them within five days, put them in your fridge so they’ll be thawed and ready to eat right when you want them. If you want to keep them around longer, store them in your freezer to thaw and enjoy later. When you’re ready, just thaw for 30 to 60 minutes at room temperature and eat within 8 hours for the best flavor. Do not refreeze after thawing because that can affect the texture of the bread.

The bread stays soft for up to five days! You can also keep them in the freezer for longer, and take them out to thaw whenever you’re ready.

We do not recommend refreezing Uncrustables^® products. Doing so may create ice crystals that cause the bread to become soggy when thawed.
